The magic of the festive season spreads to SOS Children's Village

Marking the end to a public CSI drive to help a child “Share in the Magic” of the festive season, the Cresta Shopping Centre donated 874 Mickey and Minnie Mouse plush toys to the SOS Children's Village at an event held in Ennerdale, Gauteng. An additional R21,796 was also donated to the centre, who, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company Africa, kicked off the initiative on 1 December 2016.

Celebrities like Jacques Blignaut, Stoane Seate, Matthew and Sonia Booth and Chanley Wong who were included in the initiative, joined a crowd of 720 to watch the centre turn on the lights of the seven-metre-tall magical toy tree in the centre's food and entertainment court.
