Field Operations Assistant

Role overview:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Field Operations Assistant to support our team in Johannesburg. This role focuses primarily on Proof of Flighting (POF), while also assisting the development team with on-site tasks when required.

The role is field-based and suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and contributing to both operational and development activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Capture clear, accurate photographs of outdoor advertising sites for Proof of Flighting
• Ensure all images meet required standards (correct angles, visibility, clarity, timestamps where required)
• Follow daily/weekly site schedules and plan routes efficiently
• Upload and organise images according to internal processes
• Report any on-site issues (e.g. damaged sites, incorrect flighting, access challenges)

Development support (ad hoc):

• Assist the development team with on-site tasks as needed
• Install notices or materials on sites
• Capture supporting photographs for applications and compliance purposes

Requirements:

• Basic photography skills
• Valid driver’s licence (essential)
• Own vehicle (preferred but not essential)
• Good knowledge of Johannesburg and surrounding areas
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively
• Basic admin and Microsoft Office skills

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in outdoor advertising, fieldwork, or Proof of Flighting
• Familiarity with GPS/map-based routing tools
