About the Role
This is a critical role for a detail-oriented Contracts Engineer with strong contractual knowledge and a background in UAE construction. You’ll be responsible for managing contract terms, ensuring compliance, and supporting the resolution of contractual matters throughout project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage project contracts and subcontracts
- Ensure contractual compliance with UAE laws and project requirements
- Support tendering processes and contract negotiations
- Monitor contract performance and flag potential risks or deviations
- Coordinate with legal teams, consultants, and site personnel
- Manage claims, variations, and contract close-out procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience of 5+ years as a Contracts Engineer within the UAE Construction Contracting sector
- Strong understanding of FIDIC and UAE contract law
- Skilled in contract drafting, review, and negotiation
- Strong attention to detail and legal/technical writing
- Excellent communication and document management skills
