Truman & Orange has launched the Malfy Gin Originale in South Africa with plans to introduce more of the Italian brand of gin to South African consumers. The Malfy Gin Originale is distilled using a recipe similar to that of Italian monks, who first distilled Juniper spirits at their monasteries along the Amalfi Coast as far back as 1050.
Malfy Gin is produced at the Torino Distillati distillery in Moncalieri in the Piedmont region of north-west Italy. Malfy Gin Originale is available at all major retail chains and independent liquor stores around the country in a 750 ml bottle.
