Josh Edelson won the 2021 Covering Climate Now photography prize
AFP contributor, Josh Edelson won one of two photo categories in the inaugural Covering Climate Now Journalism Awards.
This is for his outstanding reporting for AFP during last summer's wildfires that devastated large areas of northern California. AFP is one of 450 media organisations that makes up the Covering Climate Now coalition, which will award the prizes yearly.
