Van Zylsrus to receive full SABC TV services

Van Zylsrus in the Northern Cape will have access to the full range of programming on SABC television services and the radio station RSG from Wednesday, 16 November 2011, when the SABC, Department of Communications, Sentech and the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality switch on the low power transmitter. The South African public funds the infrastructures of these low-powered transmitters through the payment of TV licence fees. The total infrastructure investment for the establishment of the three TV channels and one radio service is around R150 000.
