Meet codeX, the full-time, year-long apprenticeship programme that trains young, talented minds to build real software in a fraction of the time it takes to get a university degree.
On Saturday, 7 November, we are hosting a Code Quest for promising young talent in Cape Town at the V&A Waterfront from 10am to 2pm, to come and see if codeX is right for them. Attendees will:
• Get introduced to coding through fun games
• Learn how to control robots using code
• Meet our current coders and hear about their experiences in each term of the program
• Get first-hand accounts of life as a developer from coders already in the industry
• Begin the application process if you're sure that coding is the right career choice for you
Please note: codeX is only taking 50 potential coders-to-be for this event (parents welcome).
