Technical requirements
- 7+ years hands-on experience managing enterprise network environments and teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco switching platforms (Catalyst, Nexus) and Cisco DNA Center.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), STP variants, VXLAN, multicast, QoS, and SD Access concepts.
- Experience with network automation (Python/Ansible/Git) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Solid understanding of NAC (Cisco ISE), firewall policies, and segmentation.
- Soft skills and organizational Requirements
- Ability to develop and present technical strategies to leadership.
- Strong documentation capability and adherence to change control and ITIL processes.
- Analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and operational discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field (essential).
- Professional certifications:
o CCIE enterprise infrastructure (preferred but not essential)
o Additional certifications such as JNCIP/JNCIE, Aruba, Fortinet NSE, or network automation credentials (advantageous).
