IT Support Engineer

The Window is based in Cape Town, we specialise in IT-managed services and are looking to expand our IT support team, we are a close-knit team with great values with a love for customer satisfaction.

You will get to work with customers from a variety of industries, so your people skills are most important to us.

Positions available:

• Tier 2 support technician, skilled in-depth IT support
• Tier 3 support technician, certified and highly skilled

Detailed responsibilities:

• Making sure the customer’s computers are running smoothly.
• Analysing the customer’s cyber security environment.
• Installing new hardware (servers, workstations and peripherals).
• Provide remote and onsite support for customers’ computer systems.
• Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords, (Office 365 and active directory).
• Domain and email hosting support.
• Planning future improvements/suggesting IT solutions to business problems.

Qualifications and skills

• You must already be based in Cape Town.
• Experience in active directory. User administration (setup and maintaining accounts).
• Experience in the Office365 and MS Office suite.
• Experience Managing Windows Servers.
• Experience with VOIP and advantage.
• Microsoft certifications (highly advantageous).
• Acronis certification is advantageous but We provide full training on the Acronis Cyber Security products and services.
• Own transport essential, you will need to get out to see customers from time to time.
