Overview
Persuade is looking for a sharp, articulate Junior Podcast Host to lead short, structured conversations with business professionals. This is a focused, part-time role where your responsibility is to host pre-scheduled calls, guide discussions confidently, and identify potential commercial opportunities.
All calls will be booked for you. Your role is to run high-quality conversations and flag strong opportunities for follow-up.
What you’ll be doing
- Host 2 to 3 pre-booked calls per day (15 to 20 minutes each)
- Lead structured, professional conversations with business leaders
- Ask intelligent questions and keep discussions focused and engaging
- Record sessions and ensure content is captured correctly
- Identify and flag qualified opportunities for the senior team
- Availability required between 09:00 and 14:00
- Expected active workload is approximately 2 to 3 hours per day
We are specifically looking for someone who:
- Speaks excellent English with a clear, confident, and professional tone
- Has some experience in sales, recruitment, customer-facing roles, or interviewing
- Is comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers
- Is a fast learner who can quickly understand positioning and messaging
- Can think on their feet and guide conversations naturally
- Is reliable, well-organized, and takes ownership of their role
Compensation structure
- Base Salary: R6,500 per month
- Recording Incentive: R100 per completed call
- Commission: 2.5% on closed deals generated from your conversations
- No cold calling or outreach required
- Work with pre-scheduled, relevant conversations
- Exposure to real business discussions and decision-makers
