- Write and publish daily SEO-optimised blog content for the website and across social media platforms (X, Facebook, and Instagram).
- Research and pitch relevant and trending wedding topics, industry news, and feature ideas.
- Conduct interviews where required to support articles and editorial features.
- Assist with social media content creation and help grow the audience by sharing engaging, shareable content that drives traffic to the website.
- Help moderate comments and messages on social media platforms when necessary.
- Support the editorial team with content planning and scheduling for the website and social media channels.
- Stay up to date with wedding industry trends, including weddings, celebrity engagements, and bridal news.
Requirements:
- A passion for the digital media space, particularly within the wedding industry.
- A strong interest in style, photography, beauty, food, event planning, and travel as they relate to weddings.
- A good eye for visually appealing, image-driven content that stands out in a competitive wedding market.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Degree in English, Journalism or Media Communication Studies.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics would be advantageous.
