This role is ideal for a data engineer who enjoys hands-on development, modern cloud data platforms, and working closely with analytics and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines on the Microsoft Fabric platform
- Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes
- Develop scalable Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Dataflow solutions
- Implement data models to support analytics, BI, and reporting use cases
- Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across datasets
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production data pipelines
- Collaborate with data scientists, BI developers, and business stakeholders
- Apply best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in data engineering (mid to senior level)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (or strong Azure Synapse / Data Factory experience with readiness to work in Fabric)
- Proficient in SQL and data transformation logic
- Experience building batch and/or near real-time data pipelines
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling
- Experience with data quality, monitoring, and production support
