Packaging DTP

We are a small agency based in Big Bay, in search of a skilled traditional (print) DTP with specifically packaging experience to join our team. The role will mainly encompass working on packaging artworks: artwork creation & range roll-outs (layouts, text, images). With some design & retouching required on an ad-hoc basis. The role will report to a senior designer and the operations director.





Requirements:

• 8 yrs+ experience in a similar role;

• Diploma or degree in Graphic design / Multimedia arts or equivalent;

• Fluent in Adobe creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

• Must be an industry professional and have a clear understanding of, and experience in packaging and printed 

   collateral (adjusting bleed, managing fonts, image retouching, converting colours, setting layers up to client spec);

• Experience working either in an FMCG company or design agency environment, with contactable references;

• Solid technical knowledge in print process and setting up artworks to specific printer requirements;

• Experience working on brands, using brand guidelines and liaising with stakeholders;

• Ability to work independently and prioritise work;

• Good communication skills (fluency in English essential), must be a team player;

• Excellent time management and organisational skills;

• Positive and pleasant attitude, and willingness to work (we Never have a quiet day!…like ever.)
