×Patrick Wadula is an experienced Communication expert and strategist with more than 20 years experience in media, PR and communication.
He has strong writing, research and analytical skills. that enables him to provide advice and recommendations to senior executives, managers and editors, on current media and communication issues.
Having worked as a journalist and editor for various newspapers and magazine, Patrick Wadula is also a media strategist with links and strong relationships with the media.
He has a wide knowledge and understanding of not only the South African media landscape but also international media.
During his media career, Patrick received the Achievement Award for Courageous Reporting as a journalist from the Black Management Forum.
After 14 years, Patrick took his media expertise into the corporate sector as a Communication Manager, handling not only external, but also internal Communication for International and JSE listed companies such as Absa Group, BHP Billiton and South32.
During the transition of Absa to Barclays Africa, and the demerger of BHP Billiton to create South32, Patrick was involved in the Change Management taking place at these companies.
Patrick is a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner, (CPRP) attained through the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA).
He is also a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
