High court rules in favour on FNB over stadium naming rights

The South Gauteng High Court has upheld First National Bank's naming advertising rights concerning FNB Stadium, according to a statement from FNB on Wednesday morning, 11 August 2010. Comments Derek Carstens, Director - brands, FNB and FirstRand, "The bank is pleased with this outcome and will continue with its promotional and other programmes bearing the name FNB Stadium. FNB and all South Africans can now look forward with excitement to witnessing a long stream of history-making international and local sporting events at the FNB Stadium."
