Celebrities, friends, and colleagues pay tribute to Johann Botha

The former producer, presenter, and executive producer of the SABC's environmental programme 50/50 on SABC2, Johann Botha has died after he was shot during a robbery at a bar in the Maboneng Precinct on Wednesday, 7 June 2017.

Botha worked as a producer on M-Net's Carte Blanche investigative magazine show, mostly doing environmental impact stories before his death, and was the radio presenter for PretoriaFM's Sunday night show, Nagmusiek.

George Mazarakis, executive producer of Carte Blanche as well as 50/50, and PretoriaFM have all paid tribute to Botha via social media.
