Successful charity drive by nichéd community radio station

The Johannesburg Jewish community radio station 101.9 Chai FM recently raised R3.6 million in one day for a non-profit ambulance service. Station CEO Kevin Fine said that this was a remarkable achievement which certainly makes the niche station relevant to its listeners, advertisers and other media platforms.
