SAFREA member scoops silver at Tabbie Awards

The 2013 Tabbie* Awards, which featured nearly 500 entries, with nominations coming from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Lebanon, Singapore and South Africa, saw Miriam Mannak, a SAFREA** member, win a Silver for Leadership magazine.

The story, 'Sleeping with their enemy?' had these comments from the judges, "This masterfully written and compelling feature ventures to where few features dare to journey: To a recent massacre in its own country. The reporting and research are superb. The story brings the tragedy to life but goes beyond just a news rehash."
