The Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa (ASA) has issued the following rulings for week 1-3, 1-21 January 2011: Journey In Style-IBO Island / SATSA (partially upheld); Checkers / Pick n Pay (respondent ordered to submit all future advertising to ACA Advisory Service prior to publication); MVP / McNab's (breach allegation dismissed); Maxidor / Trellidor (breach allegation dismissed); Jeeves Heated Towel Rails / Bathroom Butler (upheld); Telkom Simply / BC Pema (upheld); Dura Paints / Vitax (partially upheld); Ultra Liquors / Pick n Pay (voluntary undertaking to amend advertising); and Renault Koleos / DW Serfontein (voluntary undertaking).
