Hat-trick for MS&L

MS&L South Africa, a member of the Leo Burnett Group, has been awarded the Elecrama India account, hot on the heels of winning the Brand South Africa and Bafana Bafana accounts. These wins come after an 18-month repositioning of the agency, including its adoption as the hub for Africa for the global MS&L network.
Hat-trick for MS&L

MS&L Worldwide has been appointed by India's Elecrama 2010 team to develop a complimentary African trade relationship and reputation programme for the event. The Elecrama account will be managed by MS&L South Africa in South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Tunisia, Tanzania, Zambia, Ghana, Sudan, Uganda, Libya and Algeria.

Elecrama is a forum for convergence of trade and users of the electrical and electronics industry. It falls within the plans of the Indian Power Ministry to create power for all by 2012 by increasing electrical capacity from 145,000MW to 190,000MW in this time frame.

The Elecrama win follows on from an announcement by MS&L that it had been appointed global reputation and strategic communications advisor to both Brand South Africa as well as the senior national men's soccer team, Bafana Bafana.

"After 18 months of relentless focus on what it is that we do for our clients in building sustainable reputations, as well as a clear and unequivocal concentration on clients where we can have the biggest impact, we have seen our efforts bear fruit. As a new agency leadership we have embraced this challenge and in taking this to market become selective about the scope and scale of work we look to take on moving forward," said Amanda Singleton, the managing director of MS&L South Africa.
