Mobile transactions in Zimbabwe up by 5%

Mobile Money Africa reports that, according to the latest figures released by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ), the country's mobile transactions rose by 5.07% from $343,26m in March to $360,67m in April.

Mobile Money Africa: Zimbabwe's mobile transactions up 5%... This follows a drastic rise of almost 22% in mobile and internet-based transactions earlier this year from $281,56m in February to $343,26m in March.
In addition, the latest RBZ report also shows that card-based transactions increased by 12,75% from $336,52m in March 2014 to $379,42m in April 2014.
