ICT publication launched in Zimbabwe
HARARE: A new online technology publication, ItNews Zimbabwe, has been launched to provide coverage of the rapidly growing sector in the country.
ItNews Zimbabwe, www.itnewszimbabwe.co.zw, went "live" on Monday. Business Development Manager, Ngonidzashe Nzenzema, said the launch of the technology online publication comes at a time the country was luring information and communications technology investors into the country.
"The launch of ItNews Zimbabwe is a culmination of long planning, hard work, huge financial investments as well as wide consultation. The launch today is an endorsement from the ICT sector to say ItNews Zimbabwe's coming was indeed a long overdue," said Nzenzema.
He said the ItNews Zimbabwe had employed journalists well-versed in the areas of technology. "Our news coverage will be second to none," he said.
ICT Minister, Supa Mandiwanzira's office welcomed and embraced the launch of ItNews Zimbabwe.
