Fees raised for foreign journalists in Zim
According to The Herald, a government run newspaper, government has raised the fees for media operations within the country. All foreign media agencies require a permit to operate in the country.
The fee for foreign media organisations to operate in Zimbabwe has been increased toy US$30,000 per year while local journalists applying to work for foreign media organisations need to US$1,000 as well as an accreditation fee of US$3,000.
