Ryland Fisher has more than 30 years of experience in the media industry as an editor, journalist, columnist, author, senior manager and executive. Until August 2012, he was the turnaround Editor of The New Age, a new daily newspaper in South Africa. He was previously Editor of the Cape Times. He has served several newspapers in senior positions, among them the Sunday Times where he was assistant editor. He has occupied positions as news editor, chief sub editor and chief reporter at various publications.
