Role overview:

As the front desk coordinator/receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. From managing reservations and answering inquiries to coordinating guest requests and assisting with administrative tasks, you will play a vital role in creating memorable stays for our guests, both day and night.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
  • Coordinate guest requests, including room service, transportation, and special arrangements, to enhance their overall experience.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining guest records and files.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during their stay.
  • Maintain a clean and organised front desk area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly.
Qualifications and experience
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably as a front desk receptionist or coordinator.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office and reservation systems.
  • Flexibility to workday and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
