Senior DevOps CI/CD Engineer

What we are looking for:

• Strong background in automation
• Strong skills in Bash, Ksh or Python scripting
• Experience with Azure
• Experience with Docker, OpenShift and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with Unix/Linux
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity practices
• A keen interest in finance
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills, maturity and the ability to work in a team
• Collaboration - the nature of what we do requires us to huddle around whiteboards
• debate solutions with the team, and talk to each other often - this means that we all work together in person in the office
• Depending on the level you apply for, anywhere between 2 and 10+ years of experience in DevOps

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Helm and ArgoCD
• DevSecOps experience
• IaC experience with Terraform and/or Ansible
• Knowledge of SQL
• Ideally, a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Previous experience in financial services, specifically credit and transactional products

Reference number for this position is GZ61508 which is a permanent position based in Rosebank offering a salary of R1.4m per annum, negotiable based on experience and ability.
