Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Are you a seasoned QA professional who thrives in high-reliability environments and enjoys building quality frameworks from the ground up? We’re looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our distributed engineering team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our products.

About the role

As our Senior QA Engineer, you will lead quality initiatives, drive automation strategy, and work closely with engineering and product teams to maintain a world-class release process. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and passionate about modern QA practices.

What you’ll bring

Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance
• 2+ years in a senior or lead QA role
• Proven experience setting up QA automation from scratch
• Hands-on experience with performance and load testing tools (Locust, JMeter)
• Understanding of mobile device farms and automated mobile testing pipelines
• Background in FinTech or other high reliability / regulated industries
• Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools: Sentry, Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch
• Experience supporting product releases and release management

Core technical skills

• Automation: Selenium and/or Playwright and/or Cypress and/or Appium
• API testing and automation
• CI/CD pipelines
• React native
• Python
• AWS services

• Lead QA strategy and automation efforts across web and mobile
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks
• Perform performance and load testing for scalability insights
• Improve our release processes and quality gates
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams
• Ensure our systems meet strict reliability & compliance standards
