The client is looking for a motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Developer. This is your opportunity to be part of a pioneering business renowned for its technical innovation and purpose-driven work. Responsibilities:
- Querying: Managing SSIS packages and maintenance
- Transformations: Creating and managing SQL stored procedures
- Troubleshooting: Investigating and resolving SQL bugs
- Data design: Designing and building SQL datasets for reporting
- Data handling: Loading and verifying SQL monthly source data
- Data analysis: Manipulating and analysing data
- Reporting: Running month-end packs in Tableau
- Daily reporting: Managing daily SQL data and Tableau reports
- Report development: Developing and automating new BI reports
Qualifications and experience:
- IT related degree/ diploma / Microsoft certification / Cloud certification.
- Proven experience as a BI developer or similar role
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI
- Tableau will be a nice to have
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data modelling.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
The reference number for this position is NG60562 which is a permanent Hybrid position based in Johannesburg offering a cost to company of R500k to R600k per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
