I'm a mother of 3, a wife, a former sales administrator for Outsmart Outdoor Advertising. I am loyal, trustworthy and I am a person who has initiative. I am a self-starter who enjoys a challenge.
Over the past two years I have been formally unemployed. Currently I have been focussed on creating content for my digital book club, Bookamoso Book Club.
Previously I was in the outdoor advertising industry as an administrative support for over 4 years. My duties included assisting the various departments within the advertising company. I mainly assisted the sales department with populating proposals; database registrations on government portals; ensuring that the company is complying with all the necessary registration purposes to be a supplier to governmental departments and parastatal companies.
During the time I was employed, I also gained a great deal of personal assistance experience due to the administrative activities that I took care of for management. I have been equipped with the necessary experience and opportunity to develop excellent interpersonal skills, including listening skills, immediate decision making, identifying problems that might arise and handling conflict situations within the team. I have also been exposed to communicating with people from all levels which included different suppliers, stakeholders, management and members of the public so I am well equipped with the ability to communicate well. Part of assisting management entailed managing the diary of the managing director, including booking of travel and accommodation, making sure that their diary was up to date.
Running the digital book club has taught me to manager my time and work according to a schedule, and also to keep up with current events and activities around the publishing and literary space. I believe all the skills I've gained during my time doing this has equipped me to be able to join a team such as yours, to grow and add my efforts into your team.
