Lynda Bleazard is UWSA's new executive director

Non-profit organisation United Way South Africa (UWSA) has appointed Lynda Bleazard as its new executive director. Bleazard's main responsibilities will include the development of strategies for operations, coordinating the organisation's initiatives and fundraising for the organisation.

She has 35 years of experience in leadership roles within both for-profit and not for profit organisations having previously held various senior management, CEO and board-level positions.

Bleazard assumed her new role on 1 September.
