Adrian Roodt joins Travelport as Southern Africa country manager

Adrian Roodt has been appointed as Travelport's new country manager, Southern Africa. He replaces Claudette Thorne, who will take on a new role at Travelport, leading business development and commercial support for the company's operators across the Middle East and Africa.

Roodt joins Travelport from Computicket, where he spent 18 years split over two tenures.

At Travelport, Roodt will be responsible for leading the company's operations across South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland. He will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and report into Mark Meehan, Travelport's managing director, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.
