    British Council, Twyg are looking for 6 storytellers from sub-Saharan Africa

    The British Council and Twyg are calling for multimedia storytellers from six countries in sub-Saharan Africa: Malawi, Zambia, Mauritius, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa. The call is open to videographers, photographers, multimedia storytellers and audio artists from those countries.

    If selected, the storytellers will document the journeys of designers participating in the Circular Design Lab. One storyteller in each country will be selected to create a narrative that will deepen the understanding of the sub-Saharan Africa design sector.

    The successful candidates will be invited to participate in a workshop in Cape Town, where storytellers will share ideas, explore creative storytelling and connect with each other and other professionals.

    Interested storytellers can send three examples of their published work in English (max. two pages/1,000 words each story and/or video recording and/or audio and/or photographs) to az.oc.gywt@eikcaJ cc az.oc.gywt@odnetuR. You may also send your CV.

    Although not a requirement, previous work on sustainability and/or design would be an advantage. The deadline for receipt of submission: 9 January 2020; shortlisted candidates will be contacted on the 10 January 2020.
