Frontend Pricing Platform React Developer – Sandton (Hybrid) – R600k

What we’re looking for

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS through academic, personal, or professional projects
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, and modern software development tools
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies
• Interest in financial markets, trading systems, or data-intensive applications
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, or container technologies such as Docker
• Use of AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, or learning
• A minimum of 2 years of software development experience
• A degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
• Understanding of software development fundamentals including object-oriented programming, testing, and version control
• Interest in distributed systems, data processing, and high-performance applications

What you’ll be doing:

• Contributing to the development of a real-time financial derivative pricing platform
• Building and maintaining software components across the application stack
• Working with experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy new features
• Learning how complex pricing and market data models are translated into software solutions
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participating in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions
• Supporting the monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of applications
• Using modern development tools, including AI-assisted engineering tools, to improve productivity and code quality

Reference number for this position is GZ61495 which is a permanent  position based in Sandton offering a salary of R600k per annum, negotiable based on experience and ability.
