The Courier Services Operator is responsible for overseeing the coordination, dispatch, tracking, and delivery of couriered items related to the company’s sales and customer services. This role ensures all parcels, documents, and promotional materials are collected, processed, and delivered efficiently and in line with client expectations. Key responsibilities:- Coordinate daily courier collections and deliveries for clients and internal departments.
- Track parcels in real-time and update relevant systems.
- Communicate with sales agents and customers regarding delivery schedules and statuses.
- Liaise with external courier companies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Log, file, and track waybills and delivery notes.
- Ensure all parcels are properly packaged and labelled.
- Handle customer queries and resolve delivery issues timeously.
- Maintain and update delivery records and reports for audit purposes.
- Assist with logistics planning during high-volume campaigns or promotions.
Qualifications and skills:Qualifications:- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant logistics or dispatch training (advantageous)
Skills:- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Computer literate (Excel, email, courier tracking systems)
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Experience:- Minimum 1–2 years experience in a courier, dispatch, or logistics coordination role
- Experience within a call center or sales distribution environment (beneficial)

Working conditions:- Office-based (Rosebank)
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
- Overtime or Saturday availability during peak campaigns (as needed)
