Seychelles has begun its national Covid-19 vaccine immunisation campaign. As one of the first countries in Africa to start a Covid-19 national vaccination programme, Seychelles aims to vaccinate 70% of the over 18 years of age population in order to achieve herd immunity.
Leading by example, President of Seychelles, H E Wavel Ramkalawan has taken the SinoPharm Covid-19 vaccine, making him the first president in Africa to do so.
