As part of its 67 minutes for Mandela Day, Cash Converters Personal Finance donated 800 hand-warming scarves to Hot91.9FM for its Hot Winter Box drive. On Mandela Day, the 800 Hot Winter Boxes were handed over to Mother of Peace, The Cradle of Hope Ministry, and the Johannesburg Organisation of Services to the Homeless for distribution.
In addition to the scarves, which also double as gloves, the boxes contained several necessary items including beanies, soap, foam bath, gas lighters and refills as well as food items and even some treats.
