Telecel Zimbabwe has donated funds to the Zimbabwe Union of Journalists (ZUJ) to hold workshops on new media and ICT reporting, reports Humanipo.
Humanipo: Telecel donates $24,000 to train IT journalists... The report quotes Francis Chimanda, public relations, corporate social responsibility and sponsorship manager at Telecel Zimbabwe, saying: "Our sponsorship of ZUJ-organised journalist workshops started last year with two pilot workshops in Harare and Mutare. After the success and popularity of these training workshops among the media fraternity we decided to expand the programme's reach to include other provinces by establishing a $24,000 fund for this."
