Role purpose

The Programmes and Projects Administrator is responsible for central coordination, tracking, and execution support across ERA’s programmes and projects operations.
The role enables effective delivery of programmes and projects by ensuring structured administration, accurate reporting, and seamless coordination across the head of programmes and projects and the compliance and research officer.
This is an execution focused role, supporting implementation, not strategy or technical compliance ownership.

Key responsibilities:


Programme and projects coordination:
  • Maintain a central project and programme register
  • Track timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Monitor delivery progress and flag delays or bottlenecks
  • Support preparation of project plans, business cases, and reporting packs
  • Ensure all projects have defined scope, timelines, and budget alignment.
Programme and projects administration:
  • Coordinate administrative support for:
  • Producer (BDU) engagements
  • Service provider network (SPN) engagements
  • Support onboarding, documentation collection, and agreement tracking
  • Maintain accurate databases of producers, service providers, and stakeholders
Programme and network support:
  • Support implementation and tracking of:
  • Service provider network growth
  • Special projects
  • Infrastructure and municipal initiatives
  • Monitor performance metrics, engagement activity, and expansion progress
Reporting and data management:
  • Compile monthly operational and project reports
  • Maintain:
  • Project registers
  • Infrastructure asset register
  • Stakeholder engagement trackers
  • Support data and other inputs into compliance and operational reporting frameworks
Stakeholder and Imbizo coordination (non-marketing):
  • Coordinate logistics and administration for:
  • Imbizos
  • Workshops
  • Industry engagements
  • Manage stakeholder communication (logistics only), attendance tracking, and post-event reporting
Role value:

This role serves as the operational control point within ERA enabling visibility, coordination, and execution discipline across all programmes, and allowing leadership to focus on strategy and growth.

Remuneration:

Qualifications and experience:
  • Diploma or degree in business administration, project management, or operation
  • 2–4 years’ experience in project coordination, programme administration, or operations support
  • Exposure to multi-stakeholder environments and reporting systems
Performance indicators:
  • Timely and accurate project and programme tracking
  • Efficiency and effectiveness of all programme and projects operations
  • Quality and reliability of reporting and data management
  • Efficiency of BDU and SPN administrative support
  • Effectiveness of project documentation and tracking systems
