#ACACaresCovid19: Investing in culture, content and creativity
I think this is a great conversation. I also think it begs the question how brands are getting involved in creating content, edutainment and supporting artists during this period and going forward as well.

The importance of industry awards
Does this article really say anything of value? Gosh, not really. By the way, PRISA, can PRISM 2020 winners get their awards yet?

Has Covid-19 triggered a permanent shift away from dense city living?
As an Urban Designer, I believe that it is not correct to use the COVID-19 pandemic as the only current major shift in the city building process. Cities are built over the centuries and mayor events will have an impact on of the city building process or migration within the urban environment. However to look at short term reactions and to extrapolate it as if the “new normal” will be forever with us, is like changing your long term investment strategy based on a single percentage change in the market. The suburbanisation process of cities in the 20th century was due to complex number of factors like increase of private mobility, inner city conditions, workforce changes, land speculation as well as the “American Dream” that was promoted by the Urban Planners and Authorities. The expensive and unsustainable suburban model is well documented and the New Urbanism model, that revert back to the traditional city building process has been proven to provide better and affordable living environments with mixed uses and higher densities. If we look at previous catastrophes in history, it is clear that the resilience of humanity is amazing and the new normal is not far from the normal. Even cities that were totally destroyed by war was rebuilt, and sometimes totally restored. The need for safe and accessible public spaces will remain and it is even evident in the fact that people are even congregating despite the regulations. It is important not to confuse short term market reactions with long term trends. It is the way we respond to change as a new “opportunity” rather than as “catastrophe”.

The rise of Gen-Z in influencer marketing
You could say that, but don't let actual celebrities hear you say that. Traditionally there's a difference between celebrities and influencers, and somehow it tends of overlap.

Hats off (and masks on) to those on the frontline of local tourism
Nice article- only quibble is this "President Cyril Ramaphosa made this very clear in a recent address" I don't think he said this at all. But happy if you can point me to it?

Climate change a risk to agricultural production
Good for a first world country. Where do people generate the money to afford what you suggest? Address the primary polluters with these good ideas. How they can make systemic changes to reduce their greenhouse gas output causing the farmers' woes and ultimately your and my suffering.Let farmers meet the polluters.

Their service is horrendous. I've had a billing issue which nobody is attending to. They simply stop replying to your emails and when you call the office, nobody replies.

How digital research is best positioned to understand African consumers
This article is interesting, however doing research based on online surveys would make the data biased, reason being 35 percent of the population in South Africa used a smartphone, most people don't know how to access the internet, you might miss the important data, so traditional methods for now will have to continue until we solve the tech and communication issues in SA

Aren't influencers just a new kind of celebrity? An "internet-famous" person, instead of a movie star, for example.

The rise of Gen-Z in influencer marketing
And you don't see any contradiction in Gen Z seeking authenticity and spurning the inauthentic, and influencers endorsing whatever product is thrust into their hand on any given day?
