Opel Grandland X: German by design, Namibian by heart

Namibians, people unlike any other. You can always tell a Namibian apart by our bold and free-spirited characters that never cease to amaze.

This is just what makes the Opel Grandland X Namibian; it has a bold road presence, free-spirited design to fit every occasion, and never failing to impress riders. It has also been assembled at the coastal hub of Walvis Bay and is a vehicle like no other.

    Performance

The mighty Grandland X is a manifestation of the Namibian dream. Fully armed with a 1.6 turbocharged Petrol engine, making this an automatic SUV deserving of ovations.

The turbocharged engine matches the German design with the power to match, whilst the 121kw and 240nm mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox make ease of driving top priority.

    Comfort

The new collection of Opel cars has proven to be a collection of small things done right and the Grandland X is no exemption.

Described by many as a private jet on wheels, the Grandland X is as lavish as they come. Amazing rear-seat space for legroom and head-height, upholstery that combines soft leather and latest of interior features makes this passenger vehicle look like a self-driving car from 2036.

And, besides having adequate room for five adults, there’s also plenty of room in the boot with 514 litres of space and a flat floor which is ideal for loading bulky items.

    Peace of mind

The Grandland X, whilst being packed with the latest of luxury, also offers the best warranty. Equipped as standard with a 5 years 100,000km service plan, and 5 years 150,000 warranty, peace of mind comes as a given.

Additionally, the Grandland X not only uses the Peugeot-derived engine, but it is based on the award-winning Peugeot 3008 chassis-platform. It comes with six airbags and child seat ISOFIX points, ABS, EBD, traction control and electronic stability backing.

The Grandland X offers a noticeably raised driving position for good posture combined with great rearward visibility. Extra standard items such as the high-beam assist (automatic dimming for on-coming cars) LED daylight running lights and lane departure warning feature available in the Grandland X Enjoy, makes the Grandland X collection a breed with equipment and design priorities that have actual safety benefits, rather than mere aesthetics.
