Marie Claire green and glam lunch

In celebration of the first ever Marie Claire Earth Issue, Marie Claire together with Garnier, hosted a Green and Glam lunch held at The Conservatory Franschoek on Saturday, 4 June 2011.

An informative insight on 'How to live a greener life' was presented by Rian and Michelle Garforth-Venter, producers of the television show Greenline.
Guests were treated with a gourmet organic three-course lunch a performance by Stellenbosch band Hot Water.

The issue celebrates the International year of the Forests. Aspasia Karras, editor of Marie Claire, said that they have also made sure that this issue will have a lasting positive effect on the environment and that they have partnered with Grootbos Nature Reserve to offset the paper used to produce this months issue by planting 400 milkwood trees in the reserve .
