The talk station, aimed at the Gauteng middle class, has confirmed that four employees have left.
Head of news Benedicta Dube left after being suspended. The reasons for her suspension have not been disclosed.
Penny Peppa, who was head of programming, has also left, and Power couple Manzodidi "Mio" Khondleka and his wife, Queenie Grootboom, are heading back to the coast at the end of the year.
The Khondlekas joined Power FM from Algoa FM in April, but will now be returning to Algoa.
Station manager Ferdinand Mabalane assured listeners that the station is not in trouble.
"The station is in its early days of operation and will continually review all aspects of its operations in order to achieve optimum performance.
"We confirm that... Dube is no longer employed by the company following an amicable agreement between her and the company," he said.
Dube previously headed the news division of Classic FM and held senior positions at Financial Mail, Africa Magazine and e.tv.
She was unavailable for comment.
Mabalane said Khondleka and Grootboom have to move back to the Eastern Cape because of personal reasons.
Khondleka said: "The decision to come back home to the Eastern Cape was a big one for us. It will allow for us to take care of family and to truly take care of us as a couple.
"We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Johannesburg and are grateful for the time spent at Power. Being part of the starting group has been a powerful experience."
Algoa FM operations director Alfie Jay said he was sure listeners would be thrilled to have the duo back.
"We will assist in welcoming them to Nelson Mandela Bay and Algoa country. We are in the process of finalising the exact date, but hope to have them back on air before Christmas."
Three weeks after the station was launched in June, the line-up was reshuffled.
Radio veteran Tim Modise swapped slots with another experienced presenter, Lawrence Tlhabane.
Modise moved from the evening show to the breakfast slot while Tlhabane became the host of Power Perspective at night. Siki Mgabadeli, Tlhabane's co-host in the mornings, was moved to host Power Business on weekdays between 5pm and 6pm.
