On the second day, the Investor Forum will take place, with one-on-one meetings between Summit will investors and entrepreneurs. On that same day, Seedstars will guide an invitation-only Ecosystem Tour, consisting of meeting the entrepreneurs and organisations that shape 'Silicon Dar's growth and influence.

The summit’s climax will be the conference on the 13 December, featuring the startup pitches and keynotes with top-notch entrepreneurs. There will also be time for some high-level networking to connect the main ecosystem shapers, get an accurate vision of the continent tech scene and change the African narrative positively.

“In 2017, we managed to bring together more than 400 attendees, between entrepreneurs, corporates, investors, mentors, government authorities and startup enthusiasts. We organized around 232 one-on-one meetings between startups, mentors and investors and we felt overwhelmed by the positive feedback we had from all attendees. This year we aim to grow and offer a unique disruptive hands-on experience to 500 participants!”, says Claudia Makadristo, Regional Manager for Africa at Seedstars.

The Summit is also an excellent occasion for stakeholders to network and learn from each other in an informal way.

The Seedstars Expansion Program, organised in partnership with the Office for Economic Affairs and Innovation (SPEI) from Canton de Vaud (Switzerland), in collaboration with Innovaud, CVCI and Lausanne RĂ©gion is supporting early-stage startups based in Vaud to enable and implement their expansion in fast-growing economies and is bringing three startups to Seedstars Africa Summit.

It will be a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, network and know more about how these startups are adjusting to their own markets and what they expect and plan in terms of their future in the region.
